Come to School Early

Hello Lancer Parent,

A part of being successful at Dale Junior high is arriving at school early. Students are expected to be in their seats by 7:50AM, but we encourage students to arrive early. Students who arrive at 7:30AM have the opportunity to prepare more effectively for school by:

• Having breakfast in the quad

• Asking teachers for help on schoolwork

• Checking out books or studying in the library

• Coming to class early and preparing for their day

• Using a computer in their favorite teacher’s classroom if available

• Seeing their friends and socializing

• Helping or being helped by friends with school work

• Asking the Counselor of the Day questions about school and their future

• Building a successful pattern of success for high school, college and their future career

Morning Tardys on the other hand take away from a student’s opportunity of starting the day off on the right foot and disrupts the learning process for other students who are in their classrooms. If interested, please refer to your student’s Agenda Planner to see the consequences associated with multiple tardys.

Thank you for all the hard work you are doing to ensure your student arrives at Dale Junior High School Early. 7:30AM is a good time to start the day at Dale Junior High School.

Hola Padres de la Escuela Dale

Parte de ser exitosos en nuestra escuela es llegar temprano a la escuela. Se espera que los estudiantes estén en sus asientos a la 7:50 A.m. Pero encomiamos que lleguen temprano. Estudiantes que llegan a las 7:30 a.m. tienen la oportunidad de preparase efectivamente al:

• Tener desayuno en la escuela

• Preguntar a los maestros por ayuda sobre la tarea

• Sacar libros o estudiar en la Biblioteca

• Llegar temprano a la clase y prepararse para el dia

• Usar la computadora en el salón del maestro favorito si esta disponible

• Asociarse con sus amigos

• Ayudar o ser ayudado por amigos con la tarea

• Preguntar al consejero del dia sobre la escuela y su futuro.

• Construir un patrón exitoso para la high school, colegió y sus carreras futuras.

La hora mejor para llegar ala escuela es ala 7:30AM

Cuando su estudiante llega tarde el mismo se quita la oportunidad de empezar el dia sanamente sin interrumpir el proceso de aprendizaje para si mismo y el de todos los demás alumnos en su clases. Para las consecuencias asociadas con las tardanzas por favor refiérese a la Agenda de su hijo.
